Not that I'm aware of.
It was actually posted to the Gnome list and is a patch for the released
version of XEmacs (I happened across the email in a saved-mail folder I
set up to make sure procmail wasn't dumping things). I've written him
to see if he's tried the patch against later betas.
XEmacs isn't compatible with GNOME, use KDE.
I uninstalled all my KDE. Maybe when I have a bigger hard drive. I
take it the drop and drag features are more compatible with KDE.
