Hi All, I tried to get and build xemacs on my reshly installed palinux box All goes fine during compile build. The char mode xemacs obtained this way works fine, but as soon as I do export DISPLAY=... the X versin doesn't start. I think I have all needed for X work ok as xterm did startup for instance. But running xemacs in X mode gives iws1pb02:/usr/local/xemacs21-21.4.6> export DISPLAY=15.124.72.14:0 iws1pb02:/usr/local/xemacs21-21.4.6> /usr/local/xemacs21-21.4.6/src/xemacs Error: Unresolved inheritance operation iws1pb02:/usr/local/xemacs21-21.4.6> Note that I got the same Error message when running from icewm (i.e DISPLAY local) Thanx in advance Phi -- mailto:Philippe_Benard＠hp.com WTEC HP-UX kernel debugging tools
