I have tried very hard to make it work on most RedHat systems, and the files I found in conflict with Emacs (or the ctags package) I moved to a separate rpm (xemacs-extras). I did not find any conflicts with gnuserv whatsoever... Another problem with making a rpm for XEmacs is all the libraries, because they change version each time RedHat comes with a new release (libpng changed from so.1 to so.0 to so.2), and most people does not want a totaly static xemacs binary.
