Hello, I have created a major mode (roots-mode) for xemacs/gnuemacs to manage and process genealogical databases. The package supports LaTeX, HTML and plain text style output. It includes texinfo documentation. I have developed and used the package over several years to manage my own genalogical database (over 10000 entries). The package is GPL'ed, and it is available at ftp://puosu.dna.fi/~juha/roots-1.1.tgz but I would like that it would be transferred to some more 'central' place for general downloading (if you want it). -juha
