Anyone interested in an xemacs port of this? The preview-LaTeX package Here is the current README. Purpose of the package is to embed LaTeX environments such as display math or figures into the source buffers. By mouse-clicking, you can open the original text. After editing, another click will just run the region in question through LaTeX and redisplay the new results. Here is a screenshot. In practice, you might want to leave off the textmath conversion option, since it currently causes redisplay to get rather slow. Hopefully, this will improve in future Emacs versions. You need to have access to Emacs version 21.0.105 at least, a pretest version. No XEmacs support as to yet, volunteers welcome. http://preview-latex.sourceforge.net
