Try it in a terminal with `xemacs -nw' and if that works, `M-x
report-emacs-bug RET' to format a bug report with full information
about your configuration. It is _really important_ to get a
backtrace; start it in the debugger (eg for gdb
bash$ gdb /path/to/xemacs | tee xemacs-21.5.8-backtrace
(gdb) run -vanilla
<SIGSEGV info>
(bt)
(quit)
bash$
works for me, the backtrace is in xemacs-21.5.8-backtrace in cwd).

If you don't give us an Installation file and a backtrace, it is
highly likely that things won't get better. There are two (maybe
three now) known crashes on Red Hat that won't be auto-detected[1] but
can be manually configured around.
Footnotes:
[1] Translation: they probably could be detected, but as they are
all-too-typical cases of Red Hat pulling the trigger with the pistol
still in the holster, there's little enthusiasm here for putting in
the effort to write up arcane and probably unreliable tests.
