Built with NO problems on 4.0D using Digital C compiler and "-O2" for CFLAGS. Build included gifreader, libjpeg, libz, xpm and CDE. No more need for "--use-union-type" which also avoided the compiler error that was forcing the compilation of frame.c with gcc! Thanks for the fix!
