I once followed up to a mail sent to xemacs-patches by mistake, while
I really wanted to reply to the author of the patch (and perhaps to
xemacs-beta).
I got the mail-message you referred to and was mildly befuddled for a
while.
It didn't take me too long though to figure out that I had in fact
sent a mail message to xemacs-patches which did not contain a patch.
It would be helpful though if the returned E-mail would have a more
informative subject line than "message deferred" and a pointer to the
original mail it de^H^Hrefers to.
Just my two cents (that's Euro Cents of course).
