In XEmacs 21.2 (beta32) "Kastor and Polydeukes" [Lucid] (i586-pc-win32) of Fri Apr 14 2000 on NEVERYON configured using `configure UNKNOWN' Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug: I used XEmacs 21.1.9 and downloaded JDE 2.1.6, this version has a debugger interface which I wanted to test. But, it can't launch the debugger (it seems to launch it, then waits the timeout and gives an error message). I was told by the JDE developer that this is a bug in native XEmacs. I also saw there was a patch in 21.1.18. So I downloaded this version, but I still get the same behaviour.
