I couldn't (and was warned not to) go back to cygwin 1.3.2. Could it be
that you have the CYGWIN environment variable set to something special?
(
http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using-cygwinenv.html) How do I go about
getting this problem resolved? It seems I am the only one having it. I
reposted to comp.emacs.xemacs again and still have no responses?
THanks,
Jane

I am using cygwin 1.3.5. I also just tried 1.3.6 and it doesn't
work
either.
I will attempt to reinstall 1.3.2 and see if that helps.
Thanks,
Jane
