I would agree with this. What is confusing about `redisplay' though,
is that, when the point is within invisible text, sometimes the cursor
is displayed, sometimes not. There does not appear to be any
consistency, that I can see. Maybe I'll have a look at the C sources.
As regards preventing the point ending up in in an invisible extent,
I guess I'll have another look at `line-move' in simple.el.
