I have recently joined xemacs-beta and downloaded the most recent beta. I compiled fine on a DEC Alpha running DEC Unix 4.0B. When I attempt to execute xemacs, I get a msg that says Package-get entries not PGP signed, continue? (yes or no) Is having PGP a requirement? If so, maybe it should be specified as such. If not, where do I turn it off? Also, when I attempt to open a file using the pulldown, I get Symbol's function definition is void: xpm-button-create I'm essentially using the sample .emacs file that comes with the distribution. I feel like I'm jumping in midstream and that these are problems that have been hashed out some time ago by everyone else. Any help would be appreciated.
