Then both are wrong the symptoms are just slightly different. You'll
see that when you do some non-trivial operations the cursor will
appear at the next visible line (this is apparently what FSF does
always). After moving to the next column on the invisible line the
cursor can disappear again. Apparently the redisplay code isn't sure
what it means to have point in an invisible extent.
I think this is just that this case that is hard to deal with if you
have a redisplay engine in the way XEmacs works. However instead of
trying to define what you should do if point is invisible it would be
better to fix the bug that makes it get there in the first place.
