Progress. I've redirected the Intrinsics warning handler, and it seems
that the handler gets an XtToolkitError with the message "Widget class %s
version mismatch (recompilation needed):\n widget %d vs. intrinsics %d."
The first argument contains "TopLevelEmacsShell", and the two other
ones (which should contain numbers) are fucked up, hence the seg fault in
strlen.
We had a major gcc installation fuckage today, and I wouldn't be
surprised that this is part of the problem. Nobody seems to have touched to
the widget classes recently ?
BTW: we're in the process of upgrading to gcc 2.8 these days. Does any of you
guys know problems for compiling XEmacs with gcc 2.8 on solaris 2.5 ?
