can somebody reproduce (or even fix) this?
It bug X11/62 (see
http://cvs.xemacs.org/XEmacs-bugs/X11?id=62;user=guest )

Full_Name: Greg Jumper
OS: SunOS 5.8 s28_25
Version: 21.1 "20 Minutes to Nikko" XEmacs Lucid (patch 2)
mule: no
severity: Aggravating
Submission from: (NULL) (192.9.25.22)
I can now reproduce this problem (category X11, problem report 62)
at will:
1) xemacs -q file1 &
2) visit file2 in frame2
3) select some text in frame2 and "copy-primary-selection"
4) use "yank-clipboard-selection" to paste the above text in frame1
From this point on, XEmacs will never paste anything copied from
another application -- XEmacs will always pasted the last thing *it*
copied.
Normally, I "don't do windows", so I might not know what I'm talking
about, but it appears that, once one has done copy-paste between
frames, XEmacs no longer processes "SelectionClear" events (via
x_handle_selection_clear()) whenever it has a clipboard selection
but some other application makes a new clipboard selection.
As long as one limits XEmacs' copy/paste operations to a single frame,
"SelectionClear" events appear when clipboard ownership changes
between applications.
Hope this helps; please let me know if any progress is made on this
problem. This bug has become so annoying for me that I would have
preferred a fix for this in 21.1.2 rather than any other bug fixes or
new features. :)
Thanks,
Greg
