Hi, I'm using a CVS version updated around 4 pm EST 4-May-2000. With my configuration (cygwin, non-MULE, gnus 5.8.7), it consistently crashes right after sending a message from gnus. The exact symptoms are: After sending the mail (C-c C-c), gnus usually returns to the group buffer. With this XEmacs, its screen becomes blank. At that time, I usually could display the electric buffer list, and switch to another buffer. But after switching the screen remains blank. An attempt to switch to another buffer at that time hangs XEmacs, and CPU activity goes up (to 50% of my dual pII 400 system, according to the task manager). When I ran this from a bash prompt, and did a kill, the following showed up: LUCY:/usr/local/src/xemacs-21.2$src/xemacs & [1] 5828 LUCY:/usr/local/src/xemacs-21.2$kill 5828 LUCY:/usr/local/src/xemacs-21.2 Lisp backtrace follows: mouse-position() mouse-avoidance-fancy-hook() # (condition-case ... . error) # (condition-case ... . error) # (catch top-level ...)
