Well, firstly, with 21.0.67 I can't submit a bug report. I get the error Search failed: "^--text follows this line--$" ...which may or may not be because I'm using VM as my mail composer as set in mail-user-agent. It's quite odd cos that line's certainly in the mail buffer VM made for me. Secondly, I keep getting the somewhat unusual messages Buffer is read-only: #<buffer "*Completions*"> (hitting tab on a filename, and) Buffer is read-only: #<buffer "*BBDB*"> (when new mail arrives and BBDB attempts to dig the record out for it). I did check the list archives for this sort of thing and I didn't find anything, so I thought it worth reporting. If anyone wants more information they're welcome to ask, but please note I'm not on the xemacs-beta mailing list so you'll have to reply directly. Unfortunately without the bug report form I'm a little lost as to what information might be useful. (The elisp is from the 1999-03-12 Sumo and Mule sumo tarballs, btw, and this copy of XEmacs has Mule support compiled in.) -- Ian.
