You now can get the release candidate with
cvs -d:pserver:cvs@sunsite.dk:/pack/xemacscvs update -r r21-4-6rc1
(or equivalent), or by FTP in the usual tarballs or patchkit against
r21-4-5 in
ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/
If you get unusual problems with the build or the binary on source
updated from CVS, you might want to try re-updating before complaining
to the list.
Andy confirms that he will have the custom stuff in his next release
for Windows, coming soon. I still encourage Windows users to test
drive the custom stuff as soon as possible, of course. :-)
My guess is that the problem is U of Tsukuba network issues. We are
taking immediate measures to make the mirror more robust to the
vagaries of my network admins (and more measured plans to move the
primary repository to somewhere better connected).
