What I mean is, suppose you have a major mode (for the sake of concreteness, UGHTeX) which binds C-c C-f C-e, and a minor mode (fungi-menu), which binds C-c C-f R. Does C-c C-f C-e invoke UGHTeX's command? Or does the prefix defined by fungi-menu shadow the prefix defined by UGHTeX? Anybody know offhand?
