That would cause the old CVS logs, tags etc to be lost.
But what about PUI? Won't it still, as Ville said, list the old
package
directories?
s/package directories/packages/ :) The only "solution" I have, although
damn ugly, is to put out a dummy releases of the removed packages,
without any files included and package.info(provides) emptied.
BTW even if you like the idea of more granularity do we really need
to list
all the games libraries seperately? I think one package is really the better
way to go, at least for games.
Well, we disagree here. Among other things granularity allows better
and easier setup of package maintainerships.
Note: this is not a veto, just pointing out some problems with the idea.
