Yes, it's there. But there is no reference to load-path and I could not
find any reference to it is INSTALL. Now that I know what it means,
the help message makes sense, but until Jareth pointed it out, I
totally missed the point. (I'm not sure why the default is not "yes",
but I suspect I would find it in the archives for xemacs-beta.)
On the other hand, it is in News. I should have looked in News before
complaining.
I'm sure glad that it only takes about 10  minutes to do a build. If I 
was doing this on my SPARCstation 1, it would be about an hour per
build. :-)
