Dear Bug Team!
i compiled 21.5.31 with the options below (no x-symbol patch).
When I start xemacs reading my .emacs file give an error and causes a
bug trace which I attach, I cannot even sent a bug report
but have to restart xemacs with the vanilla option.
Wrong type argument: listp, 1
make-overlay(1 1)
This is mostly likely due to an old build of fsf-compat that predates
Aidan's proper implementation of multiple values. Something expects a
list emulating multiple values, while some function in XEmacs is
returning a true multiple-value object.
I would say reinstalling the fsf-compat package is a good bet to solve
this problem, but Aidan's the expert here.
