Yes. Then we can finally reintroduce the weight menu in the Options
menu. It shouldn't be that difficult to do either. Generalized
versions of the bla-make-font-bla functions are on the cards anyway.
How is Emacs 20 intended to cope with these settings, or is that not a
supported configuration.

P.S. I think WMPerry meant this with real font model: If you change
the font family of the default face then the italic font us
automatically taken from the same family. To that dynamically in
XEmacs at the moment is hard.
