For possibility exclusions: - I don't click-n-drag enough to know about, so that wouldn't be it. - I also don't use the toolbar appreciably. - All in all, I tend not to use the mouse a great deal, being a keyboard-centric sort of fellow. It'll happen again in a day or two at the most, I'm sure. I'll make sure to give some careful thought to exactly what Gnus was doing, and how I was ordering it about at the time.
