The hardware is not necessarily expensive for me, because I work at
computers. Once I graduate, I will likely be able to afford the
"current" hardware.
So can I get a $30 O'Reilly book on some interesting topic, put
it
in a box, and send it to you, or does that come with its own set of
problems?
It doesn't, but I don't think it's really necessary, unless you
already to own a book you no longer need, or something like that.
