 Yup.  Current default background, while not perfect, is probably a
 good compromise.  I think that our font-lock defaults are not all that

The light background defaults need some work.  Specifically, the
contrast between `font-lock-function-name-face' and
`font-lock-keyword-face' sucks^H^H^H^H^H is non-existent.
