These aren't XEmacs problems. They are issues with Debian packaging,
specifically their Emacs policy. With a standard XEmacs "make
install", these all go in the xemacs-$VERSION directories, not into
system directories. This kind of conflict is why we don't try to have
a "smarter" more LSB-conformant installation policy. These install
targets are all configurable, of course.
by default jessie comes with xemacs21, but require on xemacs21 just
accept two params and not three.
Known problem. XEmacs 21.4 is end-of-life and I'm pretty sure we
won't fix this.
Also xemacs21 flicks when running (xemacs 21.5 does not have the
same issue)
