There are none, indeed, but actually, this is an argument _in favor_
of gtk: this means that gtk support must provide its own even loop, just like
the Xt support does, and the two will not interfere. We managed to do this
once, already, for windows. There's no reason why we could not do it a second
time, for gtk. Just as long as we don't try to mix gtk and Xt.
Having X/Xt resources work is in my opinion useless. XEmacs runs on
other
platforms that do not have X resources (win32, macintosh, and tty spring to
mind). We should encourage people to use custom instead of X resources.
