What happens: In the presence of multiple XEmacs windows in the same XEmacs frame, the Trackpoint scrolling function (i.e. holding the middle button down and moving the Trackpoint) always scrolls the same window, regardless of which window the mouse pointer is on. What I think should happen: The window on which the mouse pointer is on should scroll, i.e. moving the mouse pointer to another window should scroll that window, and not the previous one. This is the usual behavior on other Windows applications. It would be extremely useful, since one can type in a window and scroll another one without doing lots of C-x o to move through the various windows. Precisely what I was doing at the time: This is a general problem, it happens all the time and is easily reproducible with any IBM Thinkpad laptop or with an IBM Trackpoint keyboard.
