I'm pretty sure that, unlike the 'xemacs -nw locks up' problem, this one isn't a problem in the IBM X libraries, since I build against the MIT X11R6.4 and *still* see it. I haven't looked to see if it's an IBM xlc compiler fuckage (possibly), or if it's an actual XEmacs bug (but why isn't it seen elsewhere?) /Valdis (who will look at this as soon as he manages to unbury himself from the stuff that piled up during 2 weeks of holidays)
