Pardon the "off topic" post... I've a client who uses a dvorak
keyboard. We've got his Linux console and X keymaps changed over to
dvorak. Some of the emacs key bindings are uncomfortable to use now...
C-x C-s, for instance, is in the perfect place for a qwerty layout, but
is more difficult to type on a dvorak keyboard. I've looked for emacs
lisp stuff for dvorak, but all I found was a remapping program that gave
emacs a dvorak layout in an otherwise qwerty environment. What I'm
looking for is a starter file that redefines the commands to make them
more comfortable to a dvorak typist. (Please respond directly or Cc
since I am no longer subscribed to the list -- too busy to read it all.)
