Whenever I startup xemacs (21.4.4, or 21.1.11) xemacs prints out Loading cus-face... Loading cus-face...done to the shell where xemacs was started from. The *Message-Log* buffer contains Loading cus-face... Loading cus-face...done <stuff that site-start.el does> not loading tooltalk not loading sunpro <stuff that my .emacs does> Loading xemacs... Paren mode is paren Loading advice... Loading advice...done Loading icomplete... Loading icomplete...done ... Cus-face is apparently being required at a very early point in the xemacs startup process. Is there a reason why cus-face isn't dumped as part of preloaded-file-list in dumped-lisp? -jeff
