Its in 21.2 since January 1999 or so (I implemented it in September 1998,
just after the feature freeze). It just needs to be enabled again.

P.S. It is the algorithm from FSF 20.2. I intentionally did not
implement the boot-id stuff from later FSF versions. As far as I know
that still doesn't work well enough to be worth the trouble.
