Won't it take more than that to make auto-filling work properly?
In the common usage of reading mail/news with a variable width font it
will be fine.
Since face information is not saved with a text file, the next
person
that views the variable-width auto-filled file won't necessarily get
the same nice filling.
Right.
It seems that to make this work, you have to define a word-processor
mode.
Several people over the years have stated their intentions to hack on
something like this, but nothing has ever come out of it. Probably
due to the lack of pixel-based operations.
I would very much like to have a word-processor mode.
