Hi Steve,
I believe the problem is that the makefile for the JDE lists senator among
the REQUIRES for the JDE. However, senator is not a separate package. It is
part of semantic in the XEmacs distribution. So if you delete senator from
the makefile, you should solve this problem. At least it went away when I
tried building the bindist target for JDE.

This is with the inclusion to the new Eieio package and Jan's patch to
Semantic.
Could somebody please help Paul to fix this? Jan perhaps, if you can
spare the time? I'd really appreciate it.
