Thanks. Stupid question: why is ediff needed?
Hmm, turns out to be not at all stupid. If I don't have a built "vc"
package around in my packages tree (only autoloads for all packages),
building tramp fails with:
>Error occurred processing lisp/tramp-vc.el: Cannot open load file:
ediff-util
OTOH, if I compile vc first, tramp compiles fine. I thought the package
dependencies would have handled this, since tramp requires vc and vc
requires ediff. I'll dig in some more and probably remove the ediff
requirement, since it's indirect.
BTW; this might be the cause to my recent 3 new REQUIRES additions to
psgml as well, need to take a look.
