Yes. However, careful reports that will still make sense to you and
others after a few weeks will get the most mileage. Cc: ben(a)xemacs.org,
and flag it as a "Mule bug" in the Subject. It may get some attention
if you submit in the next couple of days.
We care. I care in theory; I've got other things that I _must_ do
first, as do most of the developers. This is about to end (for me); I
plan to spend a lot more time on 21.5 in the near future.
Ben cares in practice; however, he was out of touch for about 2 months
in the summer and has had a rough schedule at school during the fall.
If you want to see Ben caring, don't look on xemacs-beta, he's not
subscribed and rarely posts. Look at xemacs-cvs.
However, if it doesn't get fixed in the batch of commits he's making
now, you won't see much activity again from Dec 17 until late January,
as Ben will be traveling then, and I expect that I'll spend about that
much time cleaning up some package work and reacquainting myself with
the 21.5 code base, which has changed drastically since I last worked
on it.
There are a couple of Mule-aware developers who may become more active
in the near future, but they're in the same boat I am.
