Don't install that version on a multiuser machine, though. We've
(temporarily) lost the capability to share the dumped lisp pages
between xemacs invocations.
A bug: the first message XEmacs shows is "Dumping under the
name
xemacs". Obviously, this is an artifact of the dumping process --
echo area should get cleared priored to dumping, but it doesn't.
Oh yes. I really wonder what cleared it before.
Another bug is xemacs printing \n at startup. I don't really want to
track that one now, since if the cause is what I think (stuff left in
some stdio buffer) it will magically go as soon as the new dumper is
here.
And if it doesn't go, we'll know it isn't yet another unexec artifact.
