================================================================ Dear Bug Team! I recently compiled xemacs-21.4.12 with GTK support on solaris 2.8 using GCC 3.2.2. When I run xemacs, the window background is always black. If I run xemacs, under VNC server, everything seems to be fine. The difference is that the VNC server is started with a depth of 24, whereas the default depth on the default display is 8. Is there anything I can do to fix the color problems? I cannot change the default depth of the X server.
