Actually, please don't. Remember, since all xemacs-announce
messages will also go to both the xemacs (comp.emacs.xemacs) and
xemacs-beta lists, we decided it would be best to send Beta related
messages to xemacs-beta only, and continue to send all other
announcements to xemacs-announce.
When xemacs-announce was started, we agreed that the beta
announcements *will* go to the announce list. Even in the "worst"
case of having weekly betas, the announce list would still be
low-traffic. This is, for instance, how the Gnus announce list
operates.
I agree that the beta announcements shouldn't be forwarded to c.e.x.
Maybe a filter should filter out the announcements with the word
"beta" in the subject?
