It's up to you to decide now: keep it, or revert?
I have arrived at my destination. It looks like I will be able to spare
a little time for XEmacs work this summer. Still, what do you want?
Should I press ahead with fixing the comint sync, or would you rather
revert?
In any case, the insert-before-markers bug leaves shell mode crippled
on
XEmacs 21.5. Somebody needs to revert my changes, fix the
insert-before-markers bug, or rewrite that part of comint.el to not use
insert-before-markers. I'll leave it up to you to decide which action
to take. I'll check back in as soon as I can.
I would like to pursue rewriting comint.el to not use
insert-before-markers. Are there any objections?
We should still fix insert-before-markers, of course.
