Hi
I've installed XEmacs on my Windows XP platform but when I go to save
the init.el or custom.el files, it cannot do that because the
operating system no longer allows folders with a dot as the first
character. Is there a workaround such that I can save these files in
another directory name?
Thanks
It is a bug in explorer. Open a command prompt and create the directory
using mkdir. Explorer has no problems with directories starting with a
dot except that it can't create them.
Cheers,
Sean
