efs bug

I tried to C-xC-f /ftp(a)ftp.xemacs.org:. It was busy and in the
minibuffer asked whether to try again. After trying a couple of times
I got a buffer *Warnings* with:
(1) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (quit)
After that, it kept asking me whether to try again, each time I
answered 'n', and it kept trying again anyway!
Only C-g followed by y to the offer to kill the ftp got me out of this
loop.
