SOLVED Bug: 21.4.13] File mode specification error: (... "No such file or directory" "find")

Dear Bug Team! Further to my previous bug-report concerning XEmacs 21.4.13 "Rational FORTRAN" configured for `i586-pc-win32'. File mode specification error: (file-error "Searching for program" "No such file or directory" "find") I have found the problem. For some reason (I suspect an SSH installation), my machine had both a User variable Path as well as a System variable names Path. The problem went away as soon as I removed the "User variable Path" (after adding its entries to the "System variable Path" beforehand). The problem did in fact also show up in the MS-Command Prompt (DOS shell) as it could not find "find.exe". This might be a fast way of diagnosis in case it should turn up with someone else. It is remarkable that the XEmacs error-message was in fact quite accurate - it did not find "find". Cheers, Norbert.
