no, both builds are mine, and both are run without kde/gnome stuff in
their way (afaict)
Glynn already explained me the -name bit of my question --- there is
the other bit, that 2) has class name Emacs when invoked with the
fully versioned path name, while 3) has class name Xemacs-21.5b14,
that is unfair to my xresources, and finally that the same b14 (taken
or given a couple of days between buiild dates) has class name Emacs
as it should
