Not with the URL you used. They've changed the anonymous URLs to
refer to
anonscm.debian.org, but unlike hg which tells you about it
(to the confusion of poor Mats and his buildbots), CVS can't tell you

was rejected for failed authorization.
cvs -d :ext:unwelcome-guest@cvs.debian.org:/cvs/xemacs status
worked for me, though.

cvs -d :ext:unwelcome-guest@cvs.debian.org:/cvs/xemacs status

cvs [status aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
Shouldn't pserver access work? If we use ext, don't we all need to
have keys added to unwelcome-guest's keychain?
