some bugs against 21.4.12

Hi, Here's a short list of open XEmacs bug reports against 21.4.12. I would like to ask if some of these have already been reported and possibly fixed in later betas? 1) "XEmacs hangs sometimes when run with multiple frames" <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=90386> With Red Hat Linux 9 I have received a couple of reports of xemacs hanging after a while when using multiple frames. It's not clear to me whether this is an XFree86 4.3.0 bug or an XEmacs bug. AFAIK it is not specific to 21.4.12. I know one well-known developer has actually switched to using Emacs because of this. :-\ 2) "Cursors changes updating incorrectly/slowly" <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=90614> The cursor behaviour with 21.4.12 seems to be a little latent/strange at times. is this a known problem? 3) "shift key no longer recognized as modifier to function keys" <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=90516> Is this an XEmacs change? 4) "xemacs does not grok OE/oe symbols, etc" <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=79534> There seems to be a number of symbols (newer European characters) that XEmacs does not recognise. I guess these will be added to "latin-unity.el" one day. 5) "mouse-avoidance-fancy-hook needs guarding" <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=65346> I believe this has been discussed before - a minor but annoying bug for avoid.el users. 6) "with fast-lock-mode Info-mode can't be quit" <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41976> I'm not sure if fast-lock-mode is better supported these days than it used to be? Any comments and feedback appreciated. :-) Jens
