Thanks. I have already pushed fixes to Gentoo but I will look into that diff
for future enhancements (or maybe fixing my fix! :-)
I now read it that the ASLR fixes I was seeing is actually disabling the
default PIE behavior of the compiler/linker. I was hoping for a fix for
allowing PIE but maybe that is not doable?
I have got the (wrong!?) impression that this has been fixed for GNU Emacs.
But from a very quick look at the GNU Emacs sources it seems that this can
boil down to just disabling it by using -no-pie for temacs. Can you shed some
light on this?
