umich_ldap

I just added LDAP in the form of umich-ldap to my system, not because I needed it for anything but because it was there. I had to do some hacking on configure to get it to run. Debian installs the libraries as libumich_ldap, etc., and the includes in /usr/include/umich-ldap. I don't know enough about configure to add the necessary tests; perhaps someone else will take up the challenge. Once I had persuaded configure to recognize and prepend those files, everything proceeded swimmingly. -- Michael D.
