If necessary/possible, please install the latest net-utils package (>= 1.23) and then use Help->Send Bug Report... or M-x report-emacs-bug as suggested in http://www.xemacs.org/Debug/index.html This will tell us enough about your XEmacs installation so that we can help you. You don't even state the platform you're on. Consider installing the latest versions of all installed XEmacs packages first. Perhaps you're missing some .elc files and use .el instead?
